Recently, Sichuan Gaoda Technology Co., Ltd. signed an agreement with Albemarle Corporation (NYSE: ALB), one of the world's largest lithium carbonate producers, and Guangxi Albemarle Lithium Co., Ltd. (Note: its predecessor was a wholly-owned merger with Guangxi Tianyuan New Energy Materials Co., Ltd. and was renamed Guangxi Tianyuan New Energy Company) to provide a DCS control system for the refined upgrade and transformation of the production line equipment it acquired. Guangxi Tianyuan New Energy Company, established at the end of 2017, signed a DCS control system contract with GAODA Technology for an annual production line of 25,000 tons of battery-grade lithium hydroxide monohydrate, 3,000 tons of lithium carbonate, 49,100 tons of anhydrous sodium sulfate and 100,000 tons of lithium battery recycling and utilization projects. The company's overall project passed the acceptance on June 18, 2021. At the end of the same year, the company was acquired by Albemarle of the United States for US$200 million.

After the merger, Guangxi Yabao Lithium Industry Co., Ltd. immediately conducted a comprehensive review of the company in accordance with the Western production technology management model, especially upgrading the equipment transformation and system management. Due to the excellent performance of the DCS control system used by Gaoda Technology in the early cooperation with Guangxi Tianyuan New Energy Company, it was also invited to participate in the upgrading and transformation of its equipment production line.

Based on the company's characteristics of adding IO stations, on-site adjustment of control cabinets, program modification and debugging for the three vehicles of pyrometallurgy, refrigeration and lithium hydroxide, which required the DCS control system to be upgraded and renovated in batches, GAODA Technology strictly controlled product quality and contract credit during the production process after signing the contract, and dispatched capable installation and commissioning engineers. After hard work, the project was finally completed.
