Recently, good news came from the production site of Nixin Paper Company in Sagamu, Ogun State, Nigeria. The DCS, QCS and steam condensate control systems provided by Sichuan Gaoda Technology Co., Ltd. for the pulp and paper production line of the PM4600 paper machine of Nigeria Nixin Phase II invested by the Chinese-funded Wenzhou Nixin Trading Co., Ltd. were successfully tested and put into production!

The project experienced severe tests from the domestic and international epidemics in the early stages, and overcame numerous difficulties from multiple domestic and foreign manufacturing companies and local installation and commissioning in the middle stages. Finally, it was successfully started with the joint efforts of the owner and outsourced units.
Wenzhou Nixin Trading Co., Ltd. is located in Longwan District, Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Since its establishment in 2017, it has gradually expanded its business scope based on the retail industry and has now developed into a foreign trade company involved in multiple fields. The company actively deploys overseas markets and has invested in packaging, ceramics and other industrial projects in Nigeria, Ghana and other countries. Among them, the Nixin Phase II PM4600 paper machine pulp and paper production line in Nigeria is one of the important Chinese-funded projects that the company has invested in Africa after investing in the first phase.

Gaoda Technology obtained the order for this project based on numerous domestic application cases and good cooperation with other enterprises. In this project, Gaoda Technology is mainly responsible for the pulp and paper DCS control system, QCS, steam condensate control system, on-site guidance installation and system and equipment commissioning and other collaborative tasks.
■ Some scenarios of the DCS control system of this project:
The project is located in faraway Nigeria, with strict contract execution standards, tight construction schedule and close links. In order to ensure the smooth progress of the project, GAODA Technology has formulated detailed production, quality, testing, packaging, transportation, construction and training plans, and dispatched experienced installation and commissioning guidance engineers to the site.
Despite the tight time schedule and heavy workload, the GAODA team maintained efficient operation with the cooperation of the owner and other outsourced units, ensuring the orderly progress of construction, installation and commissioning work, and ultimately contributing to the successful start-up of the project.

During the project system debugging process, GAODA Technology engineers continuously communicated with on-site operators and process personnel and explained the system, so that the owner's production team could become familiar with and master the technical essentials of the work as quickly as possible.

After the first successful start-up of the project, Nixin Paper gradually debugged the line to the best state according to the production process. The owner's leaders and officials from all over the country who came to visit deeply felt the joy brought by the smooth operation of the paper machine production line and gave it high praise!(GAODA engineers greet the dawn of the new year 2024 in the sky above Africa)
The GAODA engineer boarded the plane back home with the joy of victory. Sitting by the window and gazing at the distant Africa, he suddenly remembered the Chinese and foreign friends from the owners and cooperative units who had worked side by side with him to install and debug DCS, QCS, and steam condensate control systems overtime. He was deeply pleased that GAODA Technology had contributed to Africa's papermaking and economic prosperity with its own strength and left its brand footprint in Nigeria, one of the "Belt and Road" countries!
